Nicolas Cage, famous for the Oscars he won, has been forced to sell his Bavarian (Germany) castle because of the global economic crisis.The 45-year-old Hollywood celebrity told Bunte on tuesday : “Due to the difficult economic situation, unfortunately, I was no longer able to keep it,” adding that “it will always have a firm place in my memory.”

His “Château” has 28 rooms, 165 hectares (410 acres) of forest and gardens, and was built in the 16th century. Nicolas Cage bought the property at a reported price of €2,6 million in 2006.

Cage said he had to live where his family felt happiest, and that they currently had residences both in the US and Europe.

Actress (in Weeds) Zooey Deschanel says she is tired of people mistaking her for Katy Perry.

The pair share an uncanny resemblance and fans continually get the two mixed up.

But Zooey has had enough of the comparisons and is desperate to distance herself from the singer.

She tells MTV, “It’s a little bit annoying, to be totally blunt. The only similarity that we have is that we look a little bit alike. I have met her before. She seems like a nice person. I’m happy that she’s famous enough now that she’s not going out and being mistaken for me.”

“I used to get, ‘I heard you were out at such-and-such club drinking whiskey!’ I was at home watching TV. I think we lead very different lives. At some point I feel like this will stop being a thing.

I like the way my life goes. It’s sort of strange to be associated with someone that’s doing such different stuff than me. It’s weird.”
