Ben Affleck’s daughter, still a pre-school have troubles with other parents and local councillors because of the father being famous. The little Nursery School in Santa Monica, California has become a target for paparazzi ever since Violet, 3-year-old, became a student there and parents and teachers claim the photographers are robbing kids of a peaceful arrival. Some worried parents claim they’ve been physically and verbally abused by the snappers, and one alleges her four-year-old was almost run over by one of them !!!

Richard Bloom, member of the Santa Monica City Council is now leading a charge to create school buffer zones, where the photographers cannot stand. An attorney, told the Los Angeles Times, “If this were an isolated thing that had happened once or twice, I wouldn’t be spending my time on it.”

The councillor admits he has spoken with the parents (Garner and Affleck) about their concerns: “They expressed to me that they understand this is a part of their lives that they have to accept, but it’s not something that other people should have to experience.”

Bloom joins Los Angeles City Council member Dennis Zine among those leaders trying to restrict paparazzi access in Tinseltown. Zine has spent the past 18 months pushing measures to create buffer zones throughout Hollywood.

Abdullah Simsek is a restaurant owner, known as Apo. Sounds like his life is actually ruined by being constantly mistaken for Clooney. He has been declared as an official George Clooney look-a-like last year.

But his wife does not feel great about it…
“My wife thinks I’m going to be famous now and I am heading off to Hollywood. I don’t think I’ve changed but she thinks I have. Because of this, we have separated after 14 years of marriage, so I am back to being single.”

Returning to the singles market at least has one upside for 43-year-old Mr Simsek - he is now keen to meet his dream date, the model and television presenter Lisa Snowdon.

And given that Miss Snowdon famously dated Clooney on and off over five years, Mr Simsek rather likes his chances with her.

“It is my dream to meet Lisa, she is a very beautiful lady. It would be a wonderful thing if she were to walk into my restaurant.”

Mr Simsek used to run a kebab shop in Bolton, but has now opened a Spanish restaurant, La Salsa, on the town’s Bridge Street. Looks like he is becoming more ambitious !

But he’ll be leaving behind the tapas next month to head to Hollywood to try to be signed up as a George Clooney look-a-like.

He hopes for a meeting with Clooney’s agent Stan Rosenfield and has already rejected the advances of a London agency in a bid to further his career in the US.

“I’m going to Hollywood to try my luck. Everybody keeps telling me I’m wasting my talent, and I have been told that I’m the best Clooney lookalike there is. Wherever I go people say to me `Clooney, Clooney’.

“But I’m not interested in making lots of money, that’s not what I’m after. I’m only after Lisa Snowdon.”

The rock star tried to jump off a boat !!!

Pink suffers from seasickness so bad that she tried to kill herself by jumping off a yacht in the middle of the ocean.
The singer hoped the vessel’s captain would dock the boat at night but when he refused, she considered throwing herself overboard.

But as she teetered on deck with a bottle of wine in her hand, she was talked out of a suicide bid by husband Carey Hart.
Pink says, “I once chartered a yacht through the Mediterranean. But in the end I tried to jump off the yacht and kill myself because I wasn’t getting along with the captain.
“The idea was we’d go to port every night so we wouldn’t be rocking like The Perfect Storm, but he had other ideas. We were out in the ocean riding the waves. I got sick and couldn’t take it.
“I got my favourite dress in one hand, a bottle of wine in the other hand and I was ready to jump in the ocean and die. Luckily Carey talked me down.”
