I decided to post this, not to create a huge debate but just because I think that this picture and this article need to be seen by everybody. I do not know if that will change my or other’s point of view on abortion and it is not the goal of this article.

And let’s say that Samuel is a star, and this would be a great and crazy Stars’ gossip !

Why is it crazy ?

This operation was proceed on a 20 weeks years old baby, the baby’s hand is gripping the finger of the doctor. 20 weeks is still legal for an abortion, yet this picture proved that at that stage, the fetus already aware of its surroundings!

The picture is that of a 21-week-old unborn baby named Samuel Alexander Armas, who is being operated on by a surgeon named Joseph Bruner. The baby was diagnosed with spina bifida and would not survive if removed from his mother’s womb. Little Samuel’s mother, Julie Armas, is an obstetrics nurse in Atlanta. She knew of Dr. Bruner’s remarkable surgical procedure. Practicing at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, he performs these special operations while the baby is still in the womb.



During the procedure, the doctor removes the uterus via C-section and makes a small incision to operate on the baby. As Dr. Bruner completed the surgery on little Samuel, the doctor reached over and lifted the hand, which reacted and squeezed the doctor’s finger. In a Time Europe article highlighting new pregnancy imagery that show the formation of major organs and other significant evidence of the formation of human life but a few days after conception, Dr. Bruner was reported as saying that when his finger was grasped, it was the most emotional moment of his life, and that for an instant during the procedure he was just frozen, totally immobile. The photograph captures this amazing event with perfect clarity. The editors titled the picture, “Hand of Hope.”

The text explaining the picture begins, “The tiny hand of 21-week-old fetus Samuel Alexander Armas emerges from the mother’s uterus to grasp the finger of Dr. Joseph Bruner as if thanking the doctor for the gift of life.”



Little Samuel’s mother said they “wept for days” when they saw the picture. She said, “The photo reminds us a pregnancy isn’t about disability or an illness, it’s about a little person.” Samuel was born in perfect health, the operation 100 per cent successful. The report says that at least one person is dead and seven injured after a part of Madonna’s “Sticky and Sweet” stage set collapsed Thursday in Marseilles France, according to French police.

“I am devastated to have just received this tragic news,” the singer said in a statement Thursday through her spokesperson Liz Rosenberg. “My prayers go out to those who were injured and their families along with my deepest sympathy to all those affected by this heartbreaking news.”

The accident happened during construction of the stage for Madonna’s show at the Velodrome Stadium at 5:15 p.m. french time when the roof accidentally fell in.

Police and firemen have closed the stadium while trying to rescue those who were still trapped.

A source told The UK Sun newspaper: “Lindsay is a very good-looking girl and she is used to getting what she wants. Russell has been on her radar for a while now but he doesn’t want anything to do with her.

“He finds her constant craving for attention and her heavy drinking a turn-off. It’s not like he is short of female attention anyway.”

This is actually quite surprising, Russell is infamous for being a womanizer, so for him to reject someone like Lindsay sounds like a big deal.
